2009 Blue Ribbon Awards

In October 1991, the Mesa County Board of Health authorized the implementation of a program for the recognition of licensed retail food service establishments in Mesa County which consistently maintain superior sanitation practices. To receive THE BLUE RIBBON AWARD, retail food service establishments must provide a “full service” menu, provide seating, be open to the general public and receive no violations of a critical nature during the calendar year. Only “full service” licensed retail food service establishments that are open to the general public are considered for the Blue Ribbon Award.

During the 19th year of the recognition program, the Mesa County Board of Health herein recognizes the following sixteen (16) Mesa County retail food service establishments for continued excellence in food service sanitation for the calendar year 2009:
