This is currently ON HOLD while we work to find a solution for our community to drop these supplies in the safest way possible.  More to come soon!

In response to our community’s desire to help with COVID-19, Mesa County Public Health is coordinating donations of new, unused personal protective equipment (PPE).

Mesa County Public Health has received several requests for PPE from health care facilities in the Valley so we are planning for a time when we know the need will be greater than the current supply allocated for the County through the Colorado Medical Cache and Strategic National Stockpile.

Donated items can be dropped off every weekday beginning Wednesday, March 25, 2020, from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Mesa County Central Services Building. Individuals and businesses interested in dropping off donations should use the bay doors near the dumpsters located at the Mesa County Central Services Building, located at 200 S. Spruce Street in Grand Junction.

  • Mesa County Public Health is asking for the following items; other items will not be accepted at this time:
  • N95 masks,
  • Surgical/procedure masks,
  • Exam gloves (latex-free),
  • Bleach,
  • Disinfectant wipes,
  • Disinfectants and sanitizers,
  • Hand sanitizer containing 60% or higher isopropyl alcohol.

The items listed are in high demand and short supply, your donation will help our community’s response, and your supplies will go to local facilities in need. Mesa County Public Health continues to request resources from local, State and Federal venues; however, we know some of these supplies exist locally, and our community wants to do their part to help.
