Family Planning

What We Do

Our clinic is staffed with highly-skilled practitioners and support staff who are committed to ensuring quality, strictly confidential care.

We offer a variety of women’s health care services as well as disease screening and reproductive counseling for both men and women through our Public Health Clinic.

Care will be provided regardless of number of pregnancies, marital status, birth control preference, source of payment, race, creed, color, ethnicity, national origin, residency status, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender expression, age, height, weight, physical or mental ability and veteran status.

Reproductive Health

Annual Exam
Annual exams may consist of breast exams, pelvic exams, and pap smears based on age and screening requirements:

  • Ages 16-18 – None of the above exams are required to receive family planning services.
  • Ages 19 and older – Breast, pelvic and pap smear screenings are done based on recommended guidelines and previous physical history.

Birth Control
Family Planning staff can help you decide which birth control choice is right for you. We offer:

  • Birth control pills
  • Condoms
  • Depo-Provera shot
  • Emergency contraceptive/Plan B
  • Hormonal patches
  • Liletta IUD
  • Mirena IUD
  • Nexplanon Implant
  • Nuva Ring
  • Paraguard IUD
  • Vasectomy Procedure

Pregnancy Testing
Family Planning offers no cost pregnancy testing, option counseling services, and referrals to community resources for prenatal care.

Disease Screening

One in four people in the U.S. have, or have had, a sexually transmitted disease or STD. Some STDs present no symptoms, but can still be spread.

Signs and symptoms of STDs can include:

  • Burning with urination.
  • Abnormal discharge.
  • Sores or bumps on the penis or vagina.
  • Odor from the genital area.
  • Pelvic/abdominal pain.

We also provide treatment and referral for STDs.

We screen for:

  • Cervical Cancer/HPV
  • HPV
  • Herpes
  • Chlamydia
  • Gonorrhea
  • Rapid HIV
  • Syphilis
Payment Options

We serve all patients, regardless of ability to pay. Discounts for essential services are offered based on family size and income. We bill all major insurances, including Medicaid and Medicare.
