Community leaders are asking residents to complete a 10-minute online survey to measure social connectedness in the Grand Valley. Survey responses will show the extent of which people feel socially connected, supported and cared for in Mesa County; all of those are instrumental components for a thriving and vibrant community.

Social connectedness, the networks of family, friends, neighbors and organizations through which people develop meaningful connections, contribute to economic stability, individual well-being and civic engagement. If people feel part of a community, they participate in the community, and eventually, give back to the community.

Your input will inform an action plan to achieve our vision of a connected community where each of us has the relationships and opportunities needed to thrive.
