Flu season typically begins in October and runs through March with the majority of illnesses occurring between December and February. It takes about two weeks for your body to develop an immune response to the immunization, so it’s important to get yours as soon as possible.
If you or your children haven’t received flu immunization, you can call 248-6900 to make an appointment with Mesa County Health Department or contact your health care provider.
