Mesa County Public Health (MCPH) lifted the wildfire smoke advisory at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 3. Although multiple wildfires are still burning in western Colorado, smoke has dispersed in the Grand Valley.
Residents should still keep in mind that if smoke becomes thick in your area, you should consider limiting outdoor activities like exercising. Remember, if visibility is less than five miles in smoke in your neighborhood, smoke has reached levels that are unhealthy.
MCPH will inform residents should another advisory be put into place.
