In an effort to keep the community informed with timely and accurate information, Mesa County Public Health (MCPH) will provide regularly scheduled briefings on the COVID-19 pandemic in Mesa County.

The briefings will occur Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 11:00 a.m. at Mesa County Public Health (510 29 1/2 Road, Grand Junction).

Mesa County Public Health will share critical information as to how residents of Mesa County can take action to slow the spread of COVID-19 as well as what to expect as this situation evolves.

These briefings will be a consolidated effort of multiple agencies working together in response to this public health crisis. We know there are a lot of questions about this virus, the briefings will be a community effort addressing the planning, prevention, and response, as well as look ahead to recovery and rebounding for our community. Information from all municipalities and sectors will be included, and it is intended to be a central, official source of information for COVID-19 in Mesa County.

Reporters working remotely can participate and ask questions using the call-in option shared with journalists via email. The event will also be streamed live on the Mesa County Public Health Facebook page which can be shared, recorded or rebroadcast as needed.
