Providing accurate COVID-19 information continues to be a priority for Mesa County Public Health. The COVID-19 webpage remains a favorite page for our community.
Disease Surveillance and Emergency Response Program Manager Rachel Burmeister stated, “COVID-19 rates remain low. This is great news because we can transition to normal reporting. We’ll prepare special reports during the respiratory illness season, like we do for the flu.”
The community continues to have access to the historical COVID-19 pandemic data. The COVID-19 data dashboard is no longer needed. For year-round COVID-19 levels, we provide links to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
We now offer a COVID-19 survey for those who test positive. This case investigation survey takes about five minutes to complete. It helps us understand local trends, like symptoms and possible outbreaks.
“We learn a lot about disease trends from what we hear from Mesa County residents. We hope anyone who tests positive will take this survey,” encouraged Burmeister.
